Everyone has their own Kilimanjaro
The exhibition Everyone has their own Kilimanjaro focuses on the reach of the highest peak in Africa from the perspective of the people working for tourists. For each trekker trying to reach the peak there are several people from local agencies who are responsible for the success of the expedition. They are porters, cooks and guides. On the exhibition works created during a week of climbing Kilimanjaro will be presented. They give a coherent picture of the people and their efforts that lead the others to fulfilling their dreams.
Grzegorz Kłeczek – a lawyer, passionate about photography and traveling.
The founder and leader of the Photographic Club in Olkusz. He organizes many trips, outdoors and photographic workshops. His works have been exhibited as a part of many group exhibitions, including the framework of the Krakow Photomonth – Krakow Photo Fringe or Klub Podróżników Atlantyda. His photographs have been published in such magazines as “Duży Format” – “Gazeta Wyborcza”, “Digital Photo and Video” and “Poznaj Świat”.
His primary area of interest in photography are people and the world around them.
