ANGELIKA SIEMIENIUK

A Story from the Wooden Sea

I would like to keep my approach free of the weight of traditional photography, to keep an open dialogue and experimental works.

In my project , I would like to craft a dialogue outside the general idea oh photograph’s use.My aim is to raise  the line between truth, narrative and meaning while further expanding the significant potential of the image.

For this project, I want to create a visual world that is intuitive and playful.Explore the representative capabilities of the photograph, as well as the illusion that photography is a physical representation of the real life… I am interested in colors and shapes, clashes between digital and physical.

In our contemporary hyper-visual life, where most seem to be affected by noise, I want to create a dialogue with spectator and brings out a photographic language that is open to interpretation. The total absence of the narrative will draw the viewer into a territory where a new platform for our visual understanding is recreated.
