‘We Are’ (2015) is an imaginary tale for the future. In the times of a constant change and liquid reality, the spiritual side of human beings is fading into the unknown. My tale for the future is rooted in the faith in Nature. Nature becomes the new religion. Through this project I imagined the world in 2220, where humans turned back into nature, where technology as we know it lost its value. We are explores magical sides of being out in nature, in the woods, in the mountains and by the rivers. The visual language I use in this project is romantic and poetic. The project realised as a photographic book holds the exact dimensions as the Bible, aiming to mimic the values of The Book, creating a contemplating tone. My idea was to create my own bible, in which I look forward, where I imagine the possibilities for our future.
